Let’s pretend it hasn’t been more than 2 months since I’ve written. To be honest, I actually thought it’s been longer than that because so much has happened since.

On April 5th 2025, my dearest friends Samuel and Gusto got married, the most beautiful and celebration of love anyone will have ever seen. A few days prior I helped Nata and Kayin move in to their new apartment and after rehearsing for BEYOND for two weeks my friends and I helped Samuel and Gusto move in to their new place as well.

In the last week of April my mom, sister and I took a few days off to go to Strasbourg with our dog. We walked around, did some sightseeing and enjoyed the local bars and restaurants.

May rolled around and I guided my second Cluster Creations workshop at Jezebel Studio in Brussels. The group was so open to new things and we created really interesting shapes and patterns. Now I’m starting to feel ready to find fixed movers to start creating pieces and performances with.

Somewhere in between Lenny and I redid our entire bedroom, I had a lot of fun painting and redecorating, the before and after is unrecognisable.

Then again two weeks (the final weeks!) of rehearsals happened for BEYOND, we finished the piece, did a bunch of runs and try-outs for small crowds and are ready to start touring. We premiere in exactly two weeks on Oerol Festival in The Netherlands. Crazy.

Today I’m packing my backpack for a quick trip to Spain with Lenny, to fully charge batteries before a hectic summer of touring and performing will begin.
